Jim Corbett National Park is divided in 7 zones Dhikala, Durgadevi, Bijrani, Dhela, Garjiya, Jhirna and Phato Zone. Dhikala zone is most popular and premium zone, because tiger sightings are more frequent compared to other zones. Attractions in Dhikala Zone are Dhikala Jeep Safari, Dhikala Elephant Safari, Dhikala Forest Rest House Complex, Watchtower at dhikala, Dhikala Crocodile Point, Dhikals Grass Lands (Chaurs). Dhikala Canter safari in Corbett is best way to explore the Dhikala forest when you are staying outside Corbett tiger reserve, touring dhikala by jeep is not the best way to spot animal movement in Jim Corbett National Park but is on Canter safari and is only allowed in Dhikala Zone in Jim Corbett National Park. Unlike other zones of Corbett National Park, Jeep safari is not available for day visitors in Dhikala tourism zone. But, one can get permit for night stay in any of forest house in Dhikala zone, After getting permit for night stay in any FRH in Dhikala Zone, you have to hire a Jeep with a driver and a naturist in order to get inside corbett park and visit your booked forest house and also do jeep safarai in dhikala zone for allowed period.

More Safaris: Dhikala Canter Safari Timings: 0600 Hrs - 1200 Hrs and 1100 Hrs - 1700 Hrs. There are two canters each of 14 seats in during both Morning and Afternoon.

Elephant Safari Duration: 02:00 Hrs outside park boundary. Elephant Safari is most traditional and adventurous way of visiting jungle, as height of animal ensures a wider view and you are less likely to distract tiger and other mammals. An elephant can accommodate maximum 4 passenger..

#Visitors are required to obtain entry permits issued first come first serve basis (subject to availability)- start 90-45 days prior.

#Director- CTR reserves right to suspend safari without prior intimation to tourist or sighting reason.

#Entry permit issued are non transferable & Safari Charges are NON-REFUNDABLE once booked.

#Id Card issued by government for Indian and Passport details are mandatory for making reservation of foreigner tourists.

#No Jeep other than registered with park is allowed to enter inside park.

#Entry inside the National Park is strictly prohibited after sunset.
