Dhikala: Dhikala Zone is best zone for tiger sighting in Jim Corbett National Park with entry from Dhangadi. Dhikala Tourist Complex overlooks Dhikala chaur-one of the largest remaining grasslands inside Corbett Park. Sarapduli: Sarapduli Forest Rest House lies on the Dhangarhi-Dhikala Forest Rest House road. Movement of large mammals (tiger, elephant included) is quite high near Sarapduli Forest Rest House. Sarapduli Forest Lodge is also good place to see ghariyal (crocodiles) and also good for bird watching.

Sultan: Sultan Forest Rest House is the first rest house during the drive from Dhangarhi Gate to Dhikala Forest Lodge in Dhikala Zone. Sultan Forest Lodge is named after the Sultan Sot, the seasonal stream running through that area. Sultan Forest Rest House typifies dense forest area and is located in one of the best stretches, with high probabily of tiger sighting in this ares of Dhikala Zone of Corbett Park.

Gairal: Gairal Forest Lodge lies on the banks of the Ramganga River near the place where it first enters the Park within Dhikala Zone. Being out of the way, stay and safari near gairal forest lodge presents ideal conditions for viewing wildlife and birds in tranquility.

Khinnanauli: Khinnanauli Forest Rest House is one of the most recently built rest houses of Corbett. Priyanka Gandhi, granddaughter of Mrs. Indira Gandhi (former prime minister of India), daughter of Rajiv Gandhi (former prime minister of India) & Sonia Gandhi- UPA Chairperson, Congress President & leader opposition in India, is also an avid wildlife lover visits Corbett Park to spend family time  almost every year and prefers to stay in Khinnanauli Forest Rest House in Jim Corbett National Park.

Kanda: Kanda Forest Lodge is the highest rest house in the Jim Corbett National Park at about 1100 meter and due to its elevation one can get a bird’s-eye view of the Jim Corbett National Park & Ramganga River Valley from Kanda Forest Rest House. The fauna near Kanda Forest Lodge also is typically Himalayan, with mammals like goral, Himalayan black bear and leopards seen here in plenty.

FOREST REST HOUSE & FOREST LODGES in BIJRANI ZONE: 

Malani: Malani Forest Lodge is located on the edge of the Jim Corbett National Park, Malani Forest Rest House offers one of the most picturesque surroundings and solitude in Jim Corbett National Park. The drive up to Malani Forest Lodge from the Amdanda Gate- the entry Gate to the Malani & Bijrani Forest Rest Hose zones is quite rewarding in terms of birds and tiger sighting zone in Jim Corbett National Park. 

Bijrani: The area in and around Bijrani Forest Rest House of Jim Corbett National Park once formed part of a shooting block during the British period. Bijrani Forest Lodge zone was much famed for the quality of Tiger hunting that it offered to shikaris, before the formation of the Jim Corbett National Park. In comparison to Dhikala Zone, the terrain at Bijrani Zone is drier and also has more diverse vegetation compared to other zones in Jim Corbett National Park. 

FOREST REST HOUSE & FOREST LODGES in JHIRNA ZONE:

Jhirna: Jhirna Forest Lodge lies on the road from Ramnagar to Kalagarh through Jim Corbett National Park. The landscape of Jhirna Zone is drier than in Dhikala Zone of the Jim Corbett National Park and vegetation found in Jhirna Zone is mostly scrub. The major part of the now Jhirna Zone was a farming village until 1994 when it was successfully relocated under Project Tiger- Jim Corbett National Park. The abandoned farmlands are gradually reverting to a wild state and is being managed to develop grassland habitat. Jhirna zone of Jim Corbett National Park also hosts other interesting mammals like sloth bear and wild boar ther tha Tiger & Elephants.

FOREST REST HOUSE & FOREST LODGES in Sonanadi Wildlife Sanctuary Zone:

Lohachaur: Lohachaur Forest Rest House & Forest Lodge is located in buffer area of Jim Corbett National Park. Lohachaur Forest Lodge lies on the banks of river Mandal upstream of its confluence with the Ramganga River within the Jim Corbett National Park. The Lohachaur Forest Rest House & Lodge can be reached from Durga Devi gate of the Corbett Tiger Reserve.

Rathuadhab: Rathuadhab Forest Rest House & Forest Lodge is situated on the forest road connecting Durga Devi Gate of Jim Corbett National Park to Vatanvasa Forest Lodge of Jim Corbett National Park. The area between Durgadevi Gate to Rathuadhab and Halduparao forest rest house is favored spot for elephants in Jim Corbett National Park.

Halduparao: Halduparao Forest Rest House & Forest Lodge was built about a hundred years ago by British Government, is located between the Palain and Sonanadi rivers a short distance before they drain into the Ramganga reservoir. Halduparao Forest Rest House & Forest Lodge lies under the Sonanadi Wildlife Sanctuary and is known for its quiet, peaceful surroundings. Halduparao Forest Rest House & Forest Lodge is a good place to watch wild elephants from close quarters during summer.
